Made from robust 3/8" (9.5mm) thick Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene plastic, the Tusk Severe Impact UHMW Dirt Bike Skid Plate is built for the hard enduro enthusiast with a value that will please the weekend warrior. The high strength polymer construction of the body allows for extreme engine, frame and linkage protection (where applicable), while maintaining lower weight and reduced noise when compared to aluminum. The Tusk Severe Impact Skid Plates have a low coefficient of friction and are resistant to gouging, which will let your bike glide over obstacles instead of getting hung up like skid plates made from other materials. Mounting brackets are machined from billet aluminum or laser cut stainless steel, which means solid and reliable mounting. These Tusk skid plates are designed with maintenance in mind, providing easy removal and re-installation.
